Character rendering explorations for "Is This Your Shoe?", a picturebook I'm working on featuring Southeast Asian animals. I was trying out a looser, more textured style with less emphasis on linework as compared to Is This Your Shoe? - Character Lineup

The animal characters are a Malayan Water Monitor, Malayan Tapir, Musand (Palm Civet), Pied Oriental Hornbill and Banded Leaf Monkey.
